- Contributed to a multi-tenant retail analytics platform calculating sales indices for large retailers across Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and Italy, processing competitor pricing and sales data for millions of products ingested via internal web crawlers and stored in PostgreSQL.
- Fixed and improved business-critical logic for matching client articles with competitor products and calculating weekly sales indices, ensuring correctness and reliability of analytical results.
- Designed and implemented configurable filtering systems, enabling tenant- and user-specific page layouts, data views, and table column configurations.
- Independently developed a high-performance export service capable of generating Excel files from hundreds of thousands of database records.
- Wrote test suites for the critical business logic of the application.
- Optimized export performance using Node.js worker threads, parallelizing data fetching and file generation, with each worker handling data chunks and producing temporary files merged into a final Excel output.
- Implemented dynamic export configurations, allowing users to export either the exact dataset currently viewed in the frontend or custom-defined column selections.
- Delivered multiple tenant-specific custom export formats tailored to client analytics workflows and reporting requirements.
